' The Oranges Click to look into! >> Read More... ' is an American comedy, directed by Julian Farino Julian Farino is an acclaimed director and produce >> Read More... . In the movie, two families deal with the scandal of a married man and his friend’s daughter.

Plot:
Four best friends and neighbors- David ( Hugh Laurie Born on 11th June, 1959, James Hugh Calum Laurie i >> Read More... ), Paige Walling ( Catherine Keener Catherine Keener is an American Actress who was bo >> Read More... ), Terry ( Oliver Platt Oliver Platt was born on January 12, 1960. He is b >> Read More... ), and Cathy Ostroff ( Allison Janney Allison Brooks Janney was brought to life on Novem >> Read More... ) are living on Orange Drive in the Suburban West Orange, New Jersey. A girl named Nina (Leighton) newly broken up with her fiancee, returns home after five years of absence. The comfortable existence of four best friends goes awry after her arrival. Rather than developing an interest for boys of her own age, Nina’s attention is captured by David. He is the best friend of her parents. The connection between Nina and David is discovered by the people, and with this, the lives of the people goes upside down.

Analysis:
This film balances the talent of the younger folk. This picture puts the character in the tensed situations. The Oranges is not a perfect script and in many portions, it struggles to hold itself.

Star performances:
Hugh and Paige as a couple complimented each other, whereas Leighton as Nina is adorable. The rest of the cast of the film were also enjoyable. It's just that sometimes, the relevance of every character is unrecognizable.

What’s there?
A quirky love story of a young girl and a man, who is just as senior as her father.

What’s not there?
Certain comedy scenes were not that hilarious.

Verdict:
This is an enjoyable movie for Sunday afternoons.
