Plot

The Western film is set in the backdrop of 1850s Oregon and is director Jacques Audiard’s English language debut film. The film follows the story of the Sisters brothers – Eli Sisters, played by John C. Reilly, and Charlie Sisters, played by Joaquin Phoenix. The brothers are assassins working for a mysterious crime boss known as “The Commodore.” In the film, they receive instructions from the Commodore to follow and kill Hermann Kermit Warm, played by Riz Ahmed, who betrayed the Commodore. They are also accompanied by Morris, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, a bounty hunter tasked with catching Hermann and delivering him to the Sisters brothers. The film follows the journey of the Sisters brothers as they carry out this task.

Star Performance

All of the actors played their parts very well. John C. Reilly as Eli Sisters stood out the most with his phenomenal acting and comedic timing. Joaquin Phoenix played the mysterious and enigmatic Charlie Sisters perfectly.

Analysis

The film is a well-executed Western Comedy. The bond between the brothers has been portrayed perfectly. The physical comedy and the action scenes are also very well executed.

It is a must-watch for lovers of the comedy and action genre and Western-style film enthusiasts. The journey of the Sisters brothers in carrying out their assassination task, and the development in their relationship, makes the film a great watch.
