as a second try of telling a Wolverine-centric film. X-men Origin Wolverine was not very well accepted by the audience or the critics.
Plot: It revolves around Wolverine who is sent to Japan; there he is struck in a dispute that forces him to face his inner demons. When the movie opens Wolverine is extremely broken about the death of Gene; he is basically gone into hiding and has not done and heroic deeds for a long time. He wants to be alone because he thinks that everything he loves is eventually killed. He does not want go out and explore the world anymore. Until a person that he helped out once in the past gives him the opportunity to become perhaps mortal.
Now, we see Logan go through a lot of personal struggle that we have not seen him go through in any of the previous X-Men movies. In Japan, he meets a girl who is threatened by a lot of assassins, so Logan is protecting her.
This is not a conventional comic book film at all, the first scene of the movie tells it all. This feels severe; all the characters are taking these things extremely seriously. There are a lot of dramatic conversations where people have meaningful dialogues. The action scenes feel real, they are very much grounded, and the fight scenes are fast passed and real shot. There is also a rally great sense of Japanese culture in this movie.
Verdict: Overall, it is an awesome X- Men movie.
