Plot

Talladega Short Track dirt race track is famous among car racers. A  team of father and son named Sam and Cam Munroe was competing in the path. Sam is popular among locals for his racing. His whole heartily helps his son and, at the same was undergoing divorce from his wife called, Becca. Cam is an excellent racer like his father. But his car was unsuitable for racing, and he had less money to maintain it. The financial crisis was a problem for Cam. This leads him to lose the race. Sam's nemesis Bob Linsky sees this as an opportunity and befriends Cam. He suggests Cam be on his side. He also offers Cam a new car and tells him this will make him win against his opponents. What will happen to Sam and Cam? Will Cam accept Bob Linsky’s offer? The rest of the story deals with it.

Star Performance

John Travolta as Sam Munroe did a satisfactory performance in the film. He portrayed well as a father and a racer. He was suitable for his role in the movie as Sam. Toby Sebastian, as Cam Munroe Leakey, did a fantastic performance in the film. He shows the nature of a young and passionate race. He is portrayed well as somehow who wants to prove his worth to his father. The struggles of the financial crisis were all shown to him. He also describes how money causes a problem with your passion. One would hate Michael Madsen, as Bob Linsky, after watching this movie. That much impact he made in the whole film. His portrayed well as a nemesis to Sam. The rivalry nature of his is sound performance. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.

Analysis

The storyline of the film was great, enjoyable, and entertaining. The film focus on a father and son who loves car racing. Their passion for racing was well-scripted. The film is a sports drama genre. The scripting was predictable to anyone. It was a bland script for the audience. There was nothing in this film. The cinematography was excellent. The sound effects seem natural in the movie. The poor script makes this movie bad. The racing in the film was good. As a racing fan, the racing scene in the movie will be admirable. The background music and songs play a significant role in the movie. The dialogues were okay in the film.
