Plot:Â These two girls accept a job which according to them is easy and quick but it turns out to be something else when they are thrown off their plan by an unexpected target. Both the actresses have done a splendid job in their roles and bring a sense of humor especially Bledel as Violet. They share an amazing chemistry and from the opening scene itself we see the deep friendship between these two lost girls. The dialogues are similar to those from the Golden era of Hollywood, witty and deep.
The film is ingrained with the perfect blend of comedy and twists and turns. Just one problem here is the depiction of adolescence with so much violence; it is confusing to decide the target audience for this film. Though it catches out attention and we surely love it. Geoffrey Fletcher cleverly mixed violence and humor in this movie. Also, in addition, it is a portrayal true friendship, girl power, and materialism. These moments are unexpected yet impactful. Each part of this movie has been done with extreme care, the music is just brilliant, the director no doubt is great, dialogues are good but somewhat childish and the actors are the best part of it. One should not watch this movie expecting it to a typical assassin film, it is a short and quick movie with the use of symbolism, humor, and action.
Verdict: It might not be Geoffrey’s masterpiece but an enjoyable movie indeed.
