“Yogi Bear” is not as such an amazing movie but will surely teach children to value their outings with family and the worth of national parks. It is surely not a complicated movie like Despicable Me, Meet the Robinson, etc., for children. The movie doesn’t include any adult scenes or vulgar dialogues which many parents are scared their children might adapt and start using. It’s a happy-comedy-value based for children. There are friends and enemies of Yogi Bear at the same time and thus passes a very positive to the kids.
STAR PERFORMANCES Yogi Bear cartoon has been warmly welcomed by children, and this movie adaption is also children’s favourite. The movie, obviously, revolves around the central character- Yogi Bear. Yogi delivers some classic jokes from time to time in the movie, which is a highlight.
• Basic and simplistic story line
• Photography, scenes and cast performances are very fresh and enthusiastic
• Movie with a message taught to children about saving the environment, endangered species
WHAT’S NOT THERE?
• Lacks nostalgia factor for the parents to enjoy it.
• The same plot line of saving the animals/plants/forests has been seen a lot many times and thus, doesn’t offer anything new.
One should watch this movie without any expectations so as to enjoy it. It is just a simple childish fun movie. The dumb 3D version is not very impressive, and you’ll find slapstick comedy. The voice actors have done a commendable job.
