CAST & CREW
Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani pools in two hottest acting artists Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, who have worked for the first time together in this movie. It is a sweet romantic comedy in which these two beautifully complement each other.
Prem Shankar Sharma(Ranbir Kapoor) is a vagabond and is deemed good for nothing by his father though he has only A club known as “Happy Club” in which he promises to remove any worry of the members in it.
Prem has a golden heart and sees good in everything, enters Jenny(Katrina Kaif) and our hero falls head over heels for her. Although his first meeting is not that nice but still, he constantly works for her attention and eventually is successful in making friends with her. But a sad truth is revealed that Jenny already has a boyfriend with whom she is deeply in love with, this breaks the heart of Prem but still he helps her in getting her boyfriend back.
Things fast forward really quickly, and he meets her boyfriend( Upen Patel) who wants to marry Jenny but not against his family’s wishes. Prem sorts that problem out too and during the wedding just meets Jenny and bids her goodbye forever, Jenny too somewhere realizes that she loves Prem and not her to be fiancée, thus, she rushes back to Prem, and they have a happy reunion, and the movie concludes with both of them getting married.
This is a fantastic movie regarding everything, the acting of the lead pair is superb and, of course, Ranbir and Katrina look fantastic as a pair. The cinematography and screenplay are brilliant, and the editing of few scenes has been done well.
The story packs a punch that moves towards the conclusion in the way the audience would have wanted it. Comedy is also superb; we get to see Charlie Chaplin-like gigs that are fun to watch and Ranbir quite effortless pulls that out.
Ranbir and Katrina the two sweethearts of this movie compel you to remain in your seats.
Their onscreen chemistry is so sweet and enticing that people would want to watch them over and over again.
Ranbir’s foolish acts mixed with Katrina’s heart melting innocence is a treat to watch.
Brilliant story, and an equally brilliant screenplay to support that.
Fine acts by Ranbir and Katrina.
A well-paced comedy.
Catchy songs that would leave you humming them when you finish this movie.
WHAT’S NOT THERE?
The movie seems a bit childish sometimes.
The usual family is stretched a bit too much.
This movie is a definite watch if you want a taste of comedy and drama thrown into it. This movie won’t disappoint you.
