Star Performance

Sushama Deshpande and Sharvani Suryavanshi have played their roles excellently well. The kid is really a super talented and she has done her part well and it is a great performance for her age. Abhishek Banerjee, Smita Tambe, Vikas Kumar and Sudhir Pandey also have done justice to their roles.

Devashish Makhija, who had been assisting Anurag Kashyap, has scripted the story well. However, the screenplay has some flaws in it. He designed the story centering Sushama Deshpande and Sharvani Suryavanshi and it reaps the benefits.

What’s There?

  • Performance of the leading roles is stunning
  • Script and execution are good
  • The bonding between the granny and granddaughter relationship is beautifully shown

What’s Not There?

  • First half is a bit slower than the second half
  • Screenplay could have been better

Ajji is worth watching for the performance of the lead roles that beautifully showcase the grandmother-granddaughter relationship.
