The much-anticipated movie Baaghi, starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor has hit the screens. This is the second association of Tiger with director Sabbir Khan. Let’s see what Baaghi has in store for us.
Tiger Shroff is an unruly person. His father, who wants his mend ways sends him to Kerala at his buddy’s martial arts academy. While on the way to the academy our hero bounces upon the spirited Shraddha Kapoor. She is acting in her dad Sunil Grover’s movie. Well, now you would have guessed it right! Tiger is smitten by Shraddha and the latter also reciprocates his love. But there should be a twist right? Sudheer Babu is also attracted towards Shraddha and wants to get her love at any cost. Will the lovebirds unite amidst Suddheer’s evil plans? Watch the movie to know.
It is nice to see that Tiger Shroff has made a good transformation from his earlier movie Heropanti. He has a fit body andt there is some grace when he fights with the goons. His Kalaripayattu movements are outstanding. It is visible that the actor has put in a lot of commitment to the action sequences. To be precise, the action scenes are more powerful than the romantic scenes in the movie. Shraddha Kapoor is seen as a bubbly girl who has a liking for rains and even converses with the clouds. She has an onscreen charm and surprises us with her action scenes.
Sunil Grover is good in his role as Shraddha’s father. Sudheer Babu, who is a Telugu actor, pulls off his character with ease.
Yes, Baaghi reminds one of various action films. However, while director Sabbir Khan scores with actions scenes, he fails in the storyline department. In fact, the movie is packed with action that at one point you tend to wonder if there is any story at all for the film. There are also various moments in the movie that is related to rain that one tends to have a feeling that there is an overdose of it.
What’s not there?
Baaghi is an outright action movie and can be watched at least for Tiger Shroff.
