Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has yet again worked on his favorite subject: love for the country. This is his next endeavor after the great success of Rang De Basanti. And this time the Good Samaritan is Abhishek Bachchan. Now let’s see what the film has in store for us.

Plot

Abhishek Bachchan, who is an NRI, comes to India to leave his ill grandmother Waheeda Rehman. Abhishek, who initially doesn’t have a liking for the native country, gradually develops fascination towards his country. He is slowly pulled into the lives of diverse individuals who have different ambitions.

And there is the Monkey Man who is hell bent in turning the lives of the people miserable. What dos our hero do? Does he save his beloved people or he return back to foreign land? Watch the movie to know.

Star Performances

Abhishek Bachchan delivers a neat performance. Divya Dutta is outstanding in her role as the energetic cleaner. Waheeda Rahman, Rishi Kapoor and Atul Kulkarni too are at their spontaneous best. Sonam Kapoor has an energetic screen presence and she has quite evolved as an actress. The two children are simply outstanding. The special appearance of Amitabh Bachchan is commendable.
