Analysis: There is no overt plot – just four simple characters that you can relate to. It lacks fantasy and a good story line, but it is relatable to experiences of daily life. There are sudden moments of happiness and pain where you can realize that the struggle to survive and to connect is eternal. It has a poetry and melancholy that stays with you. It also has a haunting background score. The movie can either touch your heart, or it may make you impatient because it's antithetical to expect Bollywood movies. I recommend that you give it a shot.
Star Performances: Don't watch this movie expecting it as another Aamir Khan hit. He plays the role of a simple artist and couldn’t showcase much of his acting skills.
What’s There? A story which relates four lives; an artist, photographer, washerman, housewife, not related in any manner in a beautiful script. It has a small dose of love and drama accompanied.
What’s Not there? The movie has nothing for those looking for a fantasy story with glitters around, a villain, some theme like corruption, religion, etc.
Verdict The movie is a fodder only to those people, who want to see something they could relate to.
