Plot: The film is rooted in a love story, where Sahir (Mantra) makes efforts and struggle to earn a better living and win the heart of the girl whom he loves. Sahir is an ordinary boy born in old Delhi, brought up around Jama Masjid, who Loves to fly kites and play cricket. Family financial condition and his love push him to his best. So, this movie unfolds the way on which Sahir walks struggling with the financial situation and winning the love of his life.'Dil Patang' is a comedy drama based film featuring the ordinary life of Mantra as Sahir, who belong to a Muslim family and born in New Delhi and grown up in the streets near Jama Masjid.

He finds it difficult to earn money and thereby feeling difficult to make a living due to the financial problem he faces as he doesn't have a better job due to lacking in education as he is raised in poverty.Sahir life is a playful, running in streets with friends, playing cricket with friends and flying the kite, as time passes by Sahir grows into an Adult and started to like a girl whom with he fell in love later. Moreover, Sahir faces family problems, and his financial condition was holding him back away from his love.But in the meantime, Sahir works hard day and night to earn, and this pushed him, the best out of him and he manages to make his life better and joyful.

Star Performance: Mantra played the role of Sahir, who did a smug role of an ordinary struggling boy, while Himani Shivpuri had the lead female role.Mantra brilliantly delivered the role of modest and mediocre Delhi boy.This is the first solo and film for Mantra, while he has appeared in the ‘Tum Mile,’ ‘Bheja Fry 2,’ and on the show ‘Jhalak Dikhlaja’.He delivered magnificent performance in the past movies too. He is a multi-talented persona as earlier he appeared in dance show as well as in Comedy Circus telecasted on Sony TV.

What's there?

1. The plot of the movie is above average, as the script served justice to the viewers.

2. The direction of the movie was great, the director Vivekdas Chaudhary tried his best in the film to put his imagination of romanticism in the film.

3. The cinematography delivered a marvelous result, the locations and the screenplay of the movie is conferred accurately.

4. Movie Dubbing did a magnificent job on the screen.

What's not?

1. The acting delivered by leading actress could be much better and sharp as in comparison with that of the male actor.

2. The Choreography in the film was average and could have been better.

3. Some of the scenes in the movie at several points was kept much longer than needed, due to which it makes the movie less amusing at some sections.

Verdict: Did pasting is a good grab, as it delivers relevant plot with continuous movie direction. If you desire for a Drama-Romantic with comedy simultaneously, then this is the movie for you.
