While Randeep Hooda is still drenched with the praises for his performance in Sarbjit yet another film of his has hit the screens today. Do Lafzon Ki Kahani is the film on topic which is directed by Deepak Tijori. Let’s see what this movie, which also has Southern siren Kajal Aggarwal sharing screenspace with Randeep, has in store for us.

Randeep Hooda has had a bad past, and he wants to salvage from it. He becomes reclusive, and then the twist happens. He meets Kajal Aggarwal, who is visually disabled, however sprightly, and finds a new meaning to his life. What does destiny have for him when he about to start a new phase of life? Watch the movie to know.

Star Performances

Randeep Hooda, who has proved his mettle as a good actor, does his role of a brooding person with utter conviction. Special mention should be made to his body language. Kajal Aggarwal seems to have tried her best, but her etching of character plays spoilsport. However, she looks cute in the film. Mamik Singh of Jo Jita Wohi Sikander fame does a neat job.

Do Lafzon Ki Kahani has its moments that speaks about the depth of love. The movie is inspired by the 2011 Korean flick Always and is remade in the Kannada language too. This Hindi film has the backdrop of Kuala Lumpur, and the interesting point is that we have not seen the beautiful place in Bollywood often.

What’s there?

  • The movie is quite different from other Bollywood movies..
  • Randeep Hooda’s scenes where he shows his muscles in the boxing ring will attract the audience.
  • Music of the film is quite good.

What’s not there?

  • The dialogues slip into melodrama, and that may not vibe with all set of audience.
  • The background music is jarring at places. But still it lets you get the soul of the film.
  • The characters of the film could have been crafted better.
  • The movie takes its own time in unraveling things.
  • We get nostalgic of several Bollywood films while watching the movie.
  • There are certain scenes which are disapproving.

The movie could have been more palatable.
