Plot

The movie starts with a ghost with cockroaches all over her body. Doctor Saxena and a nurse, from the same hospital, are brutally murdered (their hearts have been ripped out) by the ghost. Suhani (Sayali Bhagat), a doctor on duty at a hospital, is the first one to find the body of the nurse. He is helped by Dr. Suhani, who believes there is a supernatural power behind it. Followed by the murder of another doctor and an office boy, hospital finds itself the victim of gruesome murders.
Lately, it is found that detective Vijay suffers from partial memory loss, and he has a link with the ghost that is now on a revenge spree.

Analysis

As the name suggest, Ghost, the movie should scare the life out of you, but ironically it leaves you with laughing out loud moments. To be precise, Ghost is a comedy in the name of a horror movie. Though Puja Jatinder Bedi does manage to put together a few spooky moments, few is not enough to make a horror flick. Moreover, the romantic track between the lead pair looks completely forceful as they seem absolutely uninterested in each other.The slow pace of the drama plays a spoilsport as it snatches the chill and thrill from a sus¬pense horror film like this.

Star Performances

Shiney Ahuja is a good actor and has tried hard to keep the audience’s interest alive. Sayali’s performance as a doctor is all for praise. Newbie Julia gives an average performance as Ghost. Tej Sapru He is the son of an actor and actress of Hindi fil >> Read More... act is worth watching.

What’s there?

Songs are tuneful and appealing. ‘Jalwanuma’ song is exquisite for its beautiful locations.

What’s not there?

Ghost doesn’t score in storytelling.
Stunts are not very well executed. Background music and visual effects are ordinary.
There were major glitches in the editing of the film with the songs and some scenes ending abruptly.

Verdict

Don’t go alone for this one not because you will not be scared but bored! One expects so much more from a scary movie.
