GJ12 Saga Movie Review

GJ12 Saga is an Indian language action-thriller drama released in theatre on the 4th of August 2023. Rohit Sarkar directed the movie with Producer Deepak Lalan & Prem Fufal. The film features Mukesh Suthar, Ishita Kataria, Rajat Maheshwari, Ketan Bhoiya, Urvashi Bhanushali, Kundan Buchiya, Hitesh Kannar, Nawab Devariya, Jigar Katua, Prince Katuva, Pruthvi Garva, Kanji Garva, Deepa Vaghela, and many others in the leading role. Director Rohit Sarkar personally curated the music and lyrics for the GJ12 saga movie.

Plot

GJ12 Saga is an action-packed and thrilling movie that features a young man who has lost his family and love due to a psycho gangster who has come to take back everything from the protagonist at all costs. Ishita Kataria played the role of Radha, a good-hearted young woman fallen for Badri [ Mukesh Suthar], but she is the sister of a famous goon, when he learns about them the story takes a whole lot of turns, and Badri's brother Kundan vows to take revenge for his brother death. The entire movie follows this plot and answers the query of whether he will succeed or not.

Star Performance

The cast of the GJ12 Saga is exceptional, each adding something new to the movie and its characters. Ishita Kataria adds depth to her role and a touch of understanding to the screen.

Mukesh Suthar's loss can be felt through the screen, and his compelling emotion makes it an entertaining watch. The clash between the villain and the main hero promises an exciting plot.

Analysis

The movie is filled with many thrilling moments and scenes that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. One of the standout features of the film is the location, the director used local sites to shoot the scenes, and little detail was paid to the selection of the filming sites. It is easy to become invested in the protagonist's journey and root for them at every step. The film takes you on a roller coaster ride that follows different themes in the movie. The crew did not have prior experience in the film so they released it on YouTube and then released it in the cinema. With little budget, the actors and director have done fabulously. The movie is a perfect blend of action, drama, and revenge, and the actor's acting moves forward the film, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

But there are some drawbacks to the movie, especially violent scenes in the climax, and the plot of the film is somewhat predictable and clichéd at one point. Lastly, the low budget seems apparent on the screen but doesn't affect the overall experience.
