Keshhav Panneriy has come up with a story that inspires women’s of today’s era. The movie unfolds the story about a girl named Alia who is born in a Catholic family. The ethics followed in her family always differentiated between the girl and the boy, and Alia also has to go through this phase. Her life takes a turn when she meets a guy in her college, Alex and eventually falls in love with her. But due to the old traditions followed by her parents, she gets married to a Rajasthani Prince. After the marriage, Alia faces many problems as Prince Vikram believed in the ethics of torturing women in the family and so, Alia also became the victim of his ill-behavior. Alia has to sacrifice her dreams of being a writer, and she accepts leading her life in a way her husband wanted to, but her patience broke when she is asked to abort her unborn daughter due to the backward thinking of the Haveli people. She then decides to run away from their and shifts to Mumbai along with her close friend Lakshmi. There she starts her new journey with her newborn baby daughter and focuses on her writing career. She becomes famous after a couple of her writings, and then her success takes her to New York. She meets an NRI who wants to bring back love in her life again, but she is scared because her past has been dreadful. The story is a motivation for those women who give up when they find themselves get troubled.

Keshhav Panneriy has done a remarkable job on the story focusing on the stereotype that is still there for women in the society.

What’s there?

  • The lavishing Haveli’s and their architecture got captured.
  • An excellent performance by the cast and especially Manjari Fadnis is appreciable.

What’s not there?

  • The movie was running time as long as it focused on some of the things that were not required like more of drama by NRI.

It’s a movie every woman should watch as it would inspire everyone.
