CAST & CREW
Karzzzz, yes another burden entailing the twists of love, passion, revenge and truth. This movie introspects into the reality and rises off the curtain over things in a suspenseful manner.
Plot: Dino Morea is a millionaire; madly, deeply and irrevocably in love with Urmila Matondkar. But Urmila kills him after striking a deal with Sir Juddah and becomes the new princess of the wealth. She leaves Dino’s sister and mother to desolate. Later after 25 years, Monty is born who is the reincarnation of Ravi. He is hinted about his flashback and belives that he is only Dino Morea. He reminds Urmila about the songs, the lines and moments Ravi and she had as a couple. He convinces her that he is her husband who is back after 25 long years. Will he be able to take revenge from Urmila? Or will he be caught?
Analysis: On the whole, this film does not click with the interests of the audience. Only HimeshReshammiya’s voice works well. The entire movie is shot in Kenya and not India. The characterizations are not strong. The typical India movie ‘masala’ seems to be missing. There is not a single highlight scene which can be reminisced later. The whole movie seems to revolve around Himesh Reshammiya whether he is seen as dancing or singing.
Star Performance: Having a weak star cast, this movie jus has HimeshReshammiya all over. He has captured the major part of the film which becomes monotonous. Urmila Matondkar acts really poorly in a lot of scenes. Shweta is pretty. Gulshan Kumar does not have much scope.
What is there?
1. Same expressions by Himesh throughout.
2. Negligible thrill.
3. Poor adaptation of the original movie Karz
What is not there?
1. Not so appealing music.
2. Effort to be creative and new.
Verdict: Karzz is without the fizz. It does not have a dull story, but the execution is in a weak manner. Only if you are a die-hard fan of HimeshReshammiya then definitely give the movie a try. Overall, it is a thumb down to this film.
