Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi is one of the best Indian action films released on 14 June 1996, which stars the action hero Akshay Kumar in the lead role. For the first time Rekha has played the villain role with her a new look, along with Raveena Tandon, Brian Adams and Gulshan Grover. The movie was directed by Umesh Mehra, and produced by Keshu Ramsay. The film is a combination of action, romance, comedy and suspense.
The movie is about an army officer Akshay (Akshay Kumar) who travels to U.S, for his brother's Ajay (Inder Kumar) marriage. During the journey he meets a beautiful lady named Priya (Raveena Tandon) and falls in love with her at first sight. Later, he finds that his brother is missing, and finds the backbone of the crime is entirely headed by the lady don known as Madam Maya (Rekha), who is well versed in conducting illegal wrestling matches with the support of the higher officials. Unfortunately, Maya being Priya’s sister is a shocking news to Ajay. There begins the story of Akshay trying to get close to Maya, to find his brother. Whether he joined hands with Priya defeating Maya forms the remaining part of the story.
Akshay exhibits his unique style as an army officer. His action stunts are a treat to watch for the action lovers, making him known as the Khiladi of Bollywood. Brian Lee (wrestler) as The Undertaker (WWE character) is an American professional wrestler and it’s amazing to have him as a part of this flick.
Akshay Kumar rocks as a Khiladi. His stunt scenes are the highlights of the movie. The ones with Undertaker are classic and will be remembered even after years. Rekha's performance in the movie is a highlight along with her variety of costumes and wig used throughout the flick that has attracted the audience and sure to be a remarkable one in her career. Rekha has stolen the show with her negative performance. She looks stunning and gorgeous inspite of her elderly age. Along with Akshay she makes a great combo on screen. Raveena Tandon was quite good with her performance.. Brian Adams as Crush (WWE character), Gulshan Grover as King Don and Brian Lee (wrestler) as The Undertaker (WWE character) are a precious gift to the movie.
1. Umesh Mehra has directed this movie with utmost dedication.
2. Story is nothing novel but still it is entertaining.
3. The music composed by Anu Malik is good.
4. Rekha’s costume and performance in the negative shade needs a special mention.
5. Akshay Kumar’s action sequences are commendable.

1. The movie begins at a slow phase.
2. There are too many action sequences in the movie.
3. Editing part of the movie could have been better.
The movie is an action classic that has the essential elements to entertain the audience with its best stuff. Action lovers are sure to enjoy this flick and for Rekha’s fan followers this is a treat.
