) are two athletes from the same village. Sanjay started liking Kiran. Kiran is an ace swimmer whereas Sanjay can run fast. He lives with his father who is not only a drunkard but also beats him. Ram Prasad Lakshman, head of a sports academy, spots the talent in these two friends and brings them to his academy.
Kiran, grabbing the opportunity, focused on her performance while Sanjay has concentrated only on her and not on the track. He became so pre-occupied by her that he even denied her having friendship with a boy called Samir. Soon enough Kiran and Sanjay started having issues at the academy due to which they realized that their dream is their main purpose. Between these, they face financial complications which are dragging them back.
Star performances
Casting NavdipSingh and Simer Motiani was not a wise choice for the producers. The acting was not compelling. Navdip lacks acting skills. He was not able to exhibit the feelings and hardship of the character. Other actors also were not experienced.
Analysis
Zaid Ali Khan could not execute all the factors required to make a movie successful. The movie could not demonstrate the struggles and hard work of the poor athletes.
What’s there?
• The film concentrated on its theme and didn’t deviate towards any appealing love story.
• Sports have been an integral part of the movie.
• It is simple.
What’s not there?
• It fails on the emotional territory.
• The acting was not compelling.
• It was not able to show the real charm of sports and somewhere made it a bit superficial.
• This film also excluded songs and dance making it a little boring.
Verdict
You can watch this movie if you have plenty of time and have nothing to do.
