Analysis: Mehbooba isn’t a bad film. Although it is dated still, the charm of the old world remains captured. The songs are a hit with known stars like Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt. This movie is certainly not for the youth. A movie for those who want emotions, comic scenes and a healthy dose of glamor. Afzal Khan’s story is outdated, but the lavish making is indeed good. Ismail Darbar’s music is great and gets you going.
Star Performance: Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt have similar kind of roles, and both have done a pretty good job. But Manisha’s elegance, beauty, and talent are all hidden.
What is there?
1. Beautiful songs.
2. Few scenes are well handled.
3. A blend of all emotions.
4. Poor editing of the film.
What is not there?
1. Not much of ManishaKoirala’s talent is seen.
2. Nothing new in the story.
Verdict: Mehbooba isn’t like the original one. It is just a one-time watch which may not also cater to your needs. A hodgepodge of many events, this film neither promises entertainment, not the interest which one looks forward to.
