Plot: The movie, perfectly directed by, Tigmanshu Dhulia, casts Irrfan Khan, as Paan Singh Tomar, and is based on the real-life story of a runner, a Gold medalist, in fact, who won a lot of gold medals at Indian National Games, and was employed in the army. However, he was somehow forced to be a notorious character named Baaghi.

Star performances: Irrfan Khan has delivered an incredible performance as a middle-aged notorious dacoit and has played his role very convincingly. The script was flawless, and the choice of cast was perfect too in this matter, all the actors have delivered a fine performance. Casting Mahi Gill opposite Irrfan Khan turned out to be the right decision as she could meet the standards of standing against the extraordinary Irrfan.

What is there? 1. The direction is commendable. 2. The script was flawless, perfect and extremely impressive. 3. The actors cast in the movie were absolutely befitting for their roles and did justice to them. 4. The dialogues of the film were exceptionally brilliant. 5. The cinematography was amazing 6. Unnecessary songs were not inserted in the movie to give a realistic touch. 7. The Art and editing department deserve a round of applause as far as the technicalities are concerned. 8. Irrfan Khan was perfectly cast for the role being a convincing dacoit with his perfect body language, his dialogue delivery and expression and acting.

What is not there? The movie was perfect and flawless as far as direction, acting, script, dialogue writing, and the cast is concerned.

Verdict: The movie is certainly a must watch, as the motive of the story was well conveyed and the execution of the script was perfect. The acting is worth a mention. It is a film that every person should watch who looks for a good quality film. The director did an excellent job in touching the crowd and making them give credits to the forgotten sports heroes who could not earn any recognition in their span of lives.
