Plot: Gurtej Singh Kahlon experiences losses of his loved ones in the family as a result of an attack by the British-born Caucasian people and instead of given justice by their arrest, he is arrested for defending his family due to the unjust verdict of the racially biased police. To feel the need to change the present unfair system, he vows to work towards it and builds a Mini India in Southall. On the other hand, persuades his son, Parghat to take part and excel in cricket but when the time comes to get him inducted in the English Cricket team, he denies the same and gives him the responsibility of a convenience store. The story is all about this and how Parghat manages to enter the team by Simran’s help and withdraws from the same when his father gets to know the truth.

Star performances: Akshay Kumar has delivered a performance different from his conventional monotonous comedy films and done an excellent job. However, Rishi Kapoor has hit the spotlight and made a very powerful impact to the movie. Anushka Sharma was pleasant to watch and has succeeded in making the crowd adore her. Dimple Kapadia was again a delight to watch.

What is there?

1. The music is appreciable.

2. Editing and Screenplay is worth an appraisal as they were flawless.

What is not there?

1. It 's hard to comprehend why the father does not simply return to Punjab.

2. Sections of the narrative seem to have fallen short of the appropriate energy required.

3. The twists and turns that the movie takes resort to clichéd consequences and unnecessary melodrama which could have been done without.

Verdict: The movie is definitely worth a watch owing to the amazing and mature acting of all the cast members, good script, good music and if one is looking for a decent family drama. The movie will succeed in grabbing your attention throughout the length.
