Santa and Banta, the pair known for their timely sense of humor, creates much hype among the audiences to watch the movie.  Also, audiences might be drawn to the theaters to see how they cut a sorry figure thus making the audiences laugh. But, beware and read below before thinking of watching the movie.

Plot:

The movie is all about two Sardarjis who go out on a quixotic adventure to save the High Commissioner of India who has been detained in Fiji.   The top officials keep prancing about to trace their other secret agents and that is when they come across the two Punjabis. These two lackadaisical souls are misconstrued to be RAW agents and hence sent on this mission. The chaos they make on screen is the entire story.

Star Performances

Boman Irani and Vir Das are talented actors whose talents have been wasted. The plot unravels with many characters popping up and indeed very talented ones. The role of High Commissioner’s wife has been done by Neha Dhupia, and Lisa Haydon does the role o f Cutie, one among the agents. Although the movie has so many talented stars, all of these seem to have been wasted.

Analysis

The director of the movie had already given two flops which left the audiences frustrated. Now, no new surprise has sprung on the audiences. The movie is shockingly disgusting, and it seems the director is still with the hangover of the previous flops.

Boman Irani and Vir Das emerge as secret agents in the movie. Anybody would expect that the quixotic venture that they take up would make him/her roll with laughter. But, the result is disappointing.

What is There?

  • The noteworthy aspect of the movie is that the camera guides us like a tourist guide to the islands of the Fiji.
  • Another mentionable aspect in the movie is that all of the actors are talented ones.

What is not There?

  • The actors in the movie could have been a strength to the movie, but the talents have been wasted.
  • The dialogues are tiring, and the best option is just to search for Sardarji jokes elsewhere.

Verdict:

The director tries to provoke a few giggles amidst the audiences, but all his efforts are in vain.
