Star Performances

The director has selected the star cast perfectly. Varun Badola, Ali Asgar, Shiv Pandit, and Ketan Singh have played their characters well with lots of humour. There are instances where the humour will spark and be enjoyed.

Analysis

Creating the Tom and Jerry cartoon in real life, the boys Tom and Jerry Patel enter Mumbai with dreams and experience real-life struggles. Renting an apartment in a small locality of Mumbai, they find themselves jobless, and to meet the unbeatable expenses, they try lots of jobs with big failures, but they still hope for optimism. Their fights and comedy in between make some scenes interesting.

Tom Patel  is an overconfident and incurable liar who does anything to earn money by hook or crook. He has tried many jobs.Shiv Pandit fits in with his character and plays it well. Jerry Patel is a product inventor and develops gadgets for the Gujarati teleshopping network, though his gadgets never work. But he tries and struggles to make a career.

Varun Badola and Ali Asgar play their hilarious characters well and tickle your bones. Kittu Gidwani creates a romantic comedy with Varun Badola. Vaishali Desai and Shahzahn Padamsee play modern girls loving their boyfriends.

What’s there?

  • You can watch the all-time comedy of Varun Badola, Ali Asgar, and Manoj Joshi. The music is exciting enough to tap your toes.
  • The spark of comedy may leave you laughing, and one thing that will grab your attention is the romance in between the comedy.

What’s not there?

  • If you are looking for a big star cast, then it is not there, but the stars in the movie have performed well and make you laugh.
  • There are not many big gags in the movie, but the comic timing is still worthy of watching.

Verdict

Go with an easy mind to watch a light-hearted comedy. Do not apply a lot of brains and expectations. The acting is good enough, and the story will keep you engaged. The film may seem lengthy sometimes, but it ends well and keeps the comic scenes going. The film is a one-time watch.
