Analysis: Karan Johar's movies may look non- realistic, but are trendy and glitzy. An entertaining movie with expensive sets, beautiful stars, cool and energetic atmosphere, and vibrant songs. Karan Johar is a brand. Whatever the story is, Karan Johar's films possess an entertaining screenplay. This movie covers the romance, bromance, and the friendship elements. Along with these, he also covers the educational system of our country. But unfortunately, he fails to explain both the aspects properly.

Star Performance: Varun Dhawan emotes well, and looks amazing with his dance skills. But he seems to miss some essence to be in the lead role. This problem may occur for him in multi- starter films. As for Sidharth, he is gifted with looks, and those looks cover up his flaws. He looks frozen during the dialogue delivery. Alia looks young for her role. Altogether, these people gave a fresh act. Many famous Bollywood artists did a cameo.

What's There: This movie is for young, and teen demographic. It is full of youthfulness, and the style quotient is high.

What's Not There: Though more entertaining aspects are present in the film, this may not satisfy a person, who hopes for a meaningful, and a realistic film.

Verdict: Karan's romance spell cast beautifully, sans story.
