A grandson goes to the rescue of his grandmother's dignity and respect. Indra Kumar was the director of this film.
Plot: When Sharman Joshi hears about the suffering faced by his grandmother Rekha, he goes to support her. Rekha's family treats her merely like a maid. Sharman changes her into a modern woman and makes her as a model. Without Rekha, her family stumbles in doing the daily chores. They realize her value one by one and realizes their mistake.
Analysis: A director, who made 'Dil' and 'Beta' in the nineties directed this movie. The genre, storytelling was of an old style. The story plot was so boring, as the plot was used in different ways in almost many films in these years. It is said that the movie went for re- edit. In spite of that, the movie was still bad. The screenplay got bungled up, and the editing was so lazy. Almost all the songs and the dance were also in nineties style. Some of the scenes were inspired from the YouTube videos. Especially, the scene in which Sharman explains about a mother's job through the interview.
Star Performance: Rekha was one of the saving grace of the film. She was charming and brilliant as usual. Super Nani is a comeback movie for her; that centrally revolves around her. Both Rekha and Sharman did justice to their roles. Sharman's character was a bit unbelievable.

does not get much screen presence, and her presence hardly affects the plot.
What's There: This movie is full of emotional and traditional values in an old flask. The wardrobe used by Rekha was quite elegant and magnificent. But the 'Ada' used by her makes her dumber.
What's Not There: The songs, lyrics, background score, the choreography, was all bugged up. The plot was a used up one. So it may bore the youngsters.
Verdict: 'Makeover' is an old and overused formula. Rekha is the only hope.
