Not every fresh appearing story can be fresh. In fact “ Yaariyan Click to look into! >> Read More... ” is a package of tits and bits of Student Of The Year, F.A.L.T.U and some other movies you can relate to. However, the songs are the lead which could inflict some desire to watch it at least once.

Plot:

The movie depicts a youthful college in Sikkim wherein the students are far more concerned about the so-called generation X issues like girls hooked on to looking prettier and boys hooked onto looking at girls. The teenage hormonal turmoil gets our hero Mr.Lakhsya ( Himansh Kohli Himansh Kohli is a famous Indian actor in both Bol >> Read More... ), son of a war widowed mother and Late Army man father who died for his country. He finds Ms.Saloni (Rakul Preet) daughter of a retired school teacher as Plain Jane. The story runs over a number of plots which is a mishap. The boy tries to woo the girl to win over his desire to fulfil his first kiss in a college where in so many hot pant and mini skirt girls exist. However the girl he chose is a “Behenji”.

The College Principal Mr.Jim Martin ( Gulshan Grover Gulshan Kumar is Bollywood’s most sought-after vil >> Read More... ) updates his dear students that the college land has being bought by an Australian tycoon who has challenged them to prove their might in a competition with their Australian counterparts in sports and culture in order that their college sustains. The selected leads for the event are of course our cast of fresh faces. So the story moves to a new land hereafter i.e. Australia.Herein the red hot bikini girl Evelyn Sharma Evelyn Lakshmi Sharma is an Indian actress and als >> Read More... enters as the crush of our boy next door. Besides, during the course they even face a racial attack by the Aussies and fight it out with patriotic emotions and inspiration from our hero’s mother of course (So New!!!). The snubbing, sobbing and sniffling continues. So what happens?? Do they win?? Does India win over Australia?? Does the college sustain?? Is Saloni the one?? What happens during the racist attack?? All this and much more!!! Hush!! The Two and half hour drama does put you on numbness!!

Star Performances and Analysis:

The movie comes with an exceptionally veteran idea. Divya Kumar Khosla thinks she could manage a fresh fun story with youth aspirations and desires, so she can!! But we can’t!! The story narration is vague where so much has been squeezed in.There is no plot in spite of so many attempts to depict a story.

Himansh Kohli may appear to be the Boy next door but is not happening as an actor with his grim expressions throughout the movie. Rakul Preet is kind of fine actress but will need much more to stay for long. Among others Gulshan Grover and Deepti Naval Deepti Naval belongs to India. She is an actress, >> Read More... do justice to their roles. Rest of the cast definitely does everything but acting i.e. the putrid immature comic elements and forced laughter bolts.

What’s There?

1.The visuals of the movie are good to a certain extent. Sikkim and Australia do make them look appealing.
2. The music is the trump card of the movie and the only reason you could actually want to go for this one.

What’s not there?

1.The story could have been captured at least in a realistic fashion to bring some nuances as a stronger element.
2. Comedy could rather be avoided then being so forcefully nagging.
3. The actors could have delivered it to a better scale then being astonishingly fresh.
4. The Patriotic genre was an unnecessary implant as it more so went through a personal outburst.

Verdict:

This movie can be a onetime watch if you don’t ever have anything productive to do. Rest, it’s only a spoiler alert!! Avoid watching it if you feel your money is worth something.
