This film is loosely based on the real life of IAS officer DK Ravi. This movie will see the comeback of Karthik Shetty Karthik Shetty is an India actor and director who >> Read More... . It also stars Raj Surya Bio coming soon... >> Read More... and Mythriya Gowda. The movie is a thriller with a lot of action packed scenes and an unexpected ending.

Plot: The movie starts with a mother and her son struggling to make ends meet. The kid, after years of hard work, becomes a district commissioner, and of course, he is honest and has high ideals. Karthik(district commissioner) being incorrupt and honest goes against some local goons who are not following the law. Raj Surya also has a meaty role in the movie as he plays an honest police officer who helps Karthik to fight against these goons. Karthik also falls in love, with the glamorous Mythriya Gowda, this role is played to perfection by her. She is also the daughter of the town chief. Karthik then gets embroiled in a crime and is the accused. Raj and the others try to help Karthik get out of this muck. Will he get out?

Analysis: The movie faced significant roadblocks as the film was supposed to be released as ‘Madhuve’ (marriage) but was later changed to ‘ Akshathe Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ as the movie with the name ‘Madhuve’ had already been released in the Kannada Film Industry. The film is based on real-life incidents, but it milks the same ‘bureaucrats being the puppets of corrupt politicians’ cow. The film needed to have a better screenplay, but knowing that this is Raju Devasandra’s debut movie one can give him a break.

The performances are decent, Raj Surya is in many action-packed sequences, and his performance is also quite good. Even though the movie is predictable for the most part, the climax gives this thriller some brownie points.

Star Performances: Although Raj is involved in some serious action sequences and has also put in an impressive performance. The glamor factor is added by Mythriya Gowda; she has put in one of her strongest performances on screen. Karthik is back after a long hiatus, and it shows, as none of his sequences stand out, and his performance is pretty weak

What’s there?

• Powerful performances by Mythriya and Raj.

• A highly unpredictable ending.

• The quality of action sequences is very good.

• A powerful message.

What’s not there?

• Screenplay and direction are very weak; a sharp screenplay could have provided the movie with a much-needed impetus.

• The movie is predictable at times, as it takes forward the notion of corrupt politicians as many movies before this have done.

Verdict: This film is highly predictable, but it has some good sequences. Although the movie has a very strong ending and a message, one can skip this as the movie does not provide us with a never before seen content, which is really important for a thriller.
