“ Madve” is scripted and directed by Hindu Krishna. The film has Manju Mardhav, Aarohi Gowda and Paramesh GB in the star cast.
The film is about how a traditional wedding in Mandya takes place. Both families gather and speak about marriage. Both of them have a different background. During the wedding, the girl’s family suffers some financial problems. How the problem is solved and how they make the marriage happier forms the rest of the story.
All the stars had played naturally and fit in the roles.
This is not a new story but comes with a different narration. The film moves at a slow pace and there are no commercial elements to entertain the audiences. The film not only shows how traditional rural weddings happen but the value of the relationship and the neighbors. The film lacks the technical values.
What’s Not There?
Although the film showcases a traditional wedding, the importance of friends and relatives, it lacks some crispness. If you have no movie to watch this weekend and if you want to watch a rural wedding without any cinematic elements, you could visit the Madve theaters!
