Puta Tirugisi Nodi Kannada film directed by Suneel Raghavendra. Talent’s Day Films has produced it. Dheerendra Doss is the music director of the movie, and Jayant Kaikini, Da Ra Bendre, and Chirasu have written the lyrics.
Plot: Mohan is a professional cricketer and has always dreamt of playing for his country. He is in pursuing his dream but gets injured in a match. Due to his injury, he is restricted from playing cricket further. Also, the only medium of his income is closed, and he finds it tough to survive. Due to this certain build up of situations, he is on the verge of losing the love of his life. To save his relationship, he joins a cricket club as a coach. After a series of events, he finds that the players are rude and are not playing fair. He tries to teach them to play hard and fair. What happens next, forms the rest of the story.
Analysis: The movie a treat to watch. It is like a magical spell which keeps you craving for more. The story of a local boy pursuing his dreams getting pulled back by life, and on the edge of losing everything is very precisely narrated, and Suneel must be appreciated for that. The screenplay is focussed, and you will not even consider bothering about you neighbor in the theater. It has the intensity it required to portray the desperate story of an innocent boy. Honestly, it is a very innovative and innocent attempt to entertain the audience, and the crew has successfully done it. The second half is enraptured, and it will take you to another level. The music is the only weak link in the movie and has not managed to touch the standards of the rest.
Star Performances: Kailash is the main character in the movie, and he has pulled it off very efficiently. The intense disappointment, anger, love, all these emotions are very innocently expressed by him. Adithi Kalkunte does not get much screen in the movie and does not have enough scope to show her skills. Suneel has been amazing with his direction. Dheendar Doss has failed to meet the standards and demands of the movie and needed to work more. Sandeep Kumar has captured amazing visuals portraying the entire story.
What's there? The movie has an explosive story, and Suneel has done his best to commercialize it. It has a beautiful and motivational story to entertain you. The cinematography and editing are excellent, and you will never take your eyes off the screen.
What's not there? After watching such an exceptional movie, it is obvious to expect some good music from it. However, you will not find as good music as the movie. Also, it might not be able to connect with a group of audiences.
Verdict: The movie is a brilliant attempt by Suneel to return, and it is a must watch this weekend.
