Raju - Kannada Medium is a romantic comedy entertainer scripted and directed by Naresh Kumar. The film is produced by KA Suresh under the banner Suresh Arts. The music composition of Raju - Kannada Medium is by Kiran Ravindranath. Shekar Chandra cranked the camera and editing is by Giri Mahesh. First Rank Raju fame “ Gurunandan” plays the lead. Avantika Shetty plays the female lead. Ashika Ranganath, Achyuth Kumar, Suchendra Prasad, Sadhu Kokila, Kuri Prathap, “Pratham," Angelina Desenina, Chandan Shetty and Kirik Keerthi are in the star cast. “Sudeep” plays an extended cameo in the film.

The plot is just an extension of the First Rank Raju with some additional flavors. Sudeep’s cast is an addition to it. How a youth from a village struggles hard to survive in the city is the simple plot of the film.

Star Performance

Gurunandan has performed well and has neatly defined three phases of the life with three different attitudes. Avantika has done justice to her role and Ashika too. Sudeep has made his extended cameo in style. Pratham and Kirik Keerthi, the cameo stars just did what the director asked them to do.

The director decided to recreate the magic of First Rank Raju. But, we could say that he failed to do that. The twists in the second half consume a lot of time and make the viewers bored. The film explains in detail about the infatuation, love and family relationships.

What’s There?

  • First half is breezy
  • The music and cinematography are good
  • Scenes with Sudeep are interesting

What’s Not There?

  • Second half doesn’t impress as it wastes time with the twists and the explanations

Although the film has both the positives and the negatives, we could say that the film hadn’t failed to entertain. Sudeep’s pleasant presence impresses the audience. On the whole, Raju Kannada Medium is Watch Worthy.
