Plot

The movies centers on a team of engineering students. This group, with their college mates, goes for a college tour of 4 days. How the film proceeds with its interesting elements form the rest of the story.

The movie has many new faces including the director Ganesh Raj Ganesh Raj is one of the most promising new genera >> Read More... , who has also penned the script. Also it has been filmed in several locations including Kochi, Goa, Hyderabad etc. The director has done an excellent job in the debut venture and he has showcased the right spirit of college life. The fun elements are narrated in a natural manner which acts in favor of the movie.

What’s there?

Sachin Warrier’s music (he debuts with this film) is already a hit among the music lovers. The BGM gels well with the tempo of the movie.
The story is narrated in a superb manner by the director.
We tend to connect with the characters of the movie.
Anand C Chandran’s cinematography gives a relaxing effect to the viewers.

What’s not there?

The editing of Abhinav Sundar Nayak could have been better in the second half. However, overall the editing is good.

Verdict

Aanandam is a fun caper and an inspirational movie with some romantic elements to it. Its presentation is like a whiz of fresh air. And not to miss the outstanding work of a team of young new faces.
