Plot

Biju is just a character that we get to see in our day-to-day lives but have missed on big screen. The director of the movie, Abrid Shine Abrid Shine is a well known Indian Fashion Photogr >> Read More... , has teamed up with Nivin Pauly after 1983 (which was both a commercial and critical success) and in this film, he succeeds in giving a neat entertainer, which is interspersed with variety. It is obvious that the director was confident in what he was going to deliver to the audience. Also, the combination of Abrid Shine and Nivin Pauly has worked out well.

The script is presented on the big screen in a realistic manner.
The life of a cop is shown in a different and engrossing manner in this film.
The character of Nivin Pauly will surely vibe well with the audience.
The music of Jerry Amal Dev is commendable.
Rajesh Murugeshan has worked well with the background scoring.
DOP of Alex Pullickal is another highlight of the movie.
The editing of the movie is outstanding.
The movie doesn’t stroll down the path of being preachy.

The storyline is very ordinary.
For those who are expecting to see Nivin in the role of a superhero, then this is not your cup of tea. He is just an ordinary commoner turning into a police officer.

Verdict

The movie may not be in the lines of Premam or 1983. But still it will appeal you with the well-executed script and splendid performance of Nivin. Quite a good tribute to the good cops….
