CAST & CREW
Making a film on comedy is indeed a tight-rope walk for the film-maker. And that too, if he is a debutante, the responsibility is more. Well, actor cum TV host Nadhir Shah is here to prove a point; debutantes are also talented. This outright directorial comedy endeavor of Nadhir Shah will surely tickle your humor bones.
Prithviraj, Jayasuriya and Indrajith are Amar, Akbar and Antony. They earn their living through different ways, and they stay in Kochi. They lead life in their known terms and as expected receive the anguish of their families. They aspire to go to Pattaya, Thailand. And to add to the romantic twist, there is the heroine Namita Pramod, who is the center of attraction of the three guys. There should be a thrill to the film, right? Yes, you heard it right.. the trio gets entangled in some incidents that ransack their lives. Watch the flick to learn what happens next.
The director should be lauded for understanding the pulse of the audience and bringing before our eyes exactly what they want. In some places, you even tend to think that the director is an experienced filmmaker. There is the correct mix of humor and spoof in this film.
The lead trio manages to bring back the magical chemistry that they shared in Classmates. They maintain their individualities. Prithviraj is right in his comic timing. Jayasuriya is also at ease with his character. Indrajith deserves special mention for his funny one-liners. Though Namita doesn’t have much to do she does a commendable job with the limited space.KPAC Lalitha is at her comic best in this film. And there is Baby Fathima who steals your hearts with her cuteness.
Bipin George and Vishnu Unnikrishnan have penned the script, and their situational humor is at its best. Nadhirshah has worked on the music part too and has done an excellent job especially in the song Inno Njaanente. Bijibal has done a splendid job with background music. Cinematographer Sujith Vassudev proves his mettle by capturing the visuals (the beauty of Kochi, etc.) in an entertaining manner. Editing of John Kutty is good.
There is sluggish narration in the film.
If you want to watch an outright comedy fare, then this movie is undoubtedly recommended.
