Nivin Pauly and Vineeth Sreenivasan are teaming up for the third time with Jacobinte Swargarajyam. Earlier they had worked together in Malarvadi Arts Club and Thattathin Marayathu. These two films set the cash registers ringing. Now the bars are indeed raised in this third outing of this duo. Let’s see what Jaconinte Swargarajyam is all about.

Renji Panicker’s family is the focus of the movie. Panicker has four offsprings Nivin Pauly, Stacen, Aima Sebastian, and Sreenath Bhasi. Panicker is having a business of his own in Dubai and is enjoying a peaceful life. Nivin Pauly is also helpful to his father as far as his business is concerned. But as fate would have it, the global recession has taken a toll on their business. To aggravate the situation, Panicker is embittered by his buddy. The family is devastated, and they find it hard to make ends meet. Here Panicker travels to Liberia with the hope of finding a solution. And how does Nivin give the much-needed solace to his family at this juncture? Watch the movie to know.

Star Performances

Renji Panicker, who dons the titular role, leaves a strong impression with his exemplary performance. This may be even called as one of his finest performances. Nivin Pauly has got a strong character, and he essays the two shades of his character with utter conviction. In Action hero Biju Nivin broke the image of a romantic hero and now he stuns us with his matured act in a family entertainer. Vineeth Srinivasan has done a neat job, and his dialogues are appreciable.Reeba Monicka John and Aima Sebastian has carried off their role with élan though they are newcomers. Lakshmy Ramakrishnan has done a convincing job, and the rest ably support.

Vineeth Srinivasan has given a perfect family entertainer and has reinforced that he is one of the talented filmmakers of our times. He has mixed sentiments and humor to the right degree.

What’s there?

  • The screenplay by Vineeth Srinivasan is outstanding. Moreover, the movie proceeds at a commendable pace.
  • Shan Rahman’s music gels well with the tempo of the movie. His BGM is a solace to the ears.
  • Jomon T John’s cinematography works wonders as he shows the glory of Dubai.
  • Editing of Ranjan Abraham is creditable.

What's not there?

We may wonder as to what happened to Panicker since he doesn't appear on the screenf for quite some time. But that is not a flaw in its true sense.

The movie is a perfect entertainer for both the family and the youngsters.
