Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan is the comedy film directed by Nadirshah. The film produced by actor “ Dileep” has Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Prayaga Martin in the lead roles. Besides playing the hero, Vishnu has scripted the film along with Bibin George. Rahul Madhav, Siju Wilson, Lijomol Jose, Salim Kumar and Swasika are also in the cast. Music scoring is by Bijibal. The songs are penned by the director, Nadirshah.
Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan is the story of a guy, who aspires to become an actor. Surendran, who wants to become an actor, failed in his attempts. Hence, he sows the seeds of star dream in the minds of his son Kichu alias Krishnan. The dream and his efforts to become an actor are narrated in a comical way by the director. Vishnu Unnikrishnan plays Kichu. Although he is an amateur, he has delivered a good performance. Except in some emotional sequences, the actor has proved that he is exquisite in comedy. Prayaga Rose Marthin plays Ann Maria. Although she has no big job in the film, she had done justice to her character. After a short break, Salim Kumar has made an excellent entry to Mollywood with this film. It is needless to rate the performance of the National Award winner. He has showcased all his comedy talents and made the people burst out of laughter. Dharmajan’s one-liners didn’t fail to attract the audiences.
Nadirshah, the talented director proved his mettle last year with Amar Akbar Anthony with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Indrajith Sukumaran and Jayasurya. Now, he has proved once again that he could even make the beginners to steal the show.
