Meenakshi alias Meenu Kutty, who was born on the day when the film Manjil Virinja Pookal released, is an ardent “Mohanlal” fan. She is very crazy on the star and connects everything in her life with Mohanlal’s film situations and characters. Meenu, who finds her childhood friend Sethu Madhavan, marries him. Sethu loves his wife genuinely. Their life goes on smoothly until Sethu gets his transfer. What happens next? Watch the film in theaters.
As usual Manju’s performance is energetic and entertaining. After “Aami,” where Manju is seen in a different get-up, this film brings her back to normal, but she appears in Mohanlal’s accessories and creates some giggles. Manju’s entry is mass and her fans would love it for sure. Indrajith plays a loving husband. Soubin Sahir, Hareesh Perumanna, Salim Kumar, Aju Varghese and Biju Kuttan excelled in the comedy.
Always Mohanlal is a superstar for the Keralites. So, Sajid has come with a good script that proves how an ardent Mohanlal fan would be, with his excellent comical script. Star selection is really appreciable as the lead roles and the supporting roles fit in the film perfectly. Production works are good and the technical department had done their job perfectly.
What’s Not There?
The film is a complete entertainer for all class audiences with Manju leading the film. If the director has cut short some scenes in the second half, then the film would have been without many flaws.
