Plot: Achaaram has Ganesh Venkat Raman, Munna and
Poonam Kaur in the lead roles. OAK Sundar, Gnanadesh Ambedkar and Rekha are also in the main roles. It is a different kind of Police story directed by the debutante Mohana Krishna.
Surya is a sincere Police officer, who is about to marry Ramya. Surya was not interested in the marriage. Due to the request of his mother, he nodded his head. Ramya works in an IT industry and is in relationship with Simon. She does not want to get married with Surya and she did not tell his love to her parents, as she knows that they never accept. The life of Surya is devastated by Ramya before the marriage. Ramya wrongly complains about Surya to marry Simon. Hearing the false information, Surya’s mother commits suicide. This makes Surya turn more aggressive. Surya plans to kill Simon and Ramya who were the reason for the death of his mother.
Ganesh Venkat Raman has taken a challenging role to show his talents. We have seen him as a chocolate boy in Abhiyum Nanum. He has also performed as a good officer in Ennai Pol Oruvan. But this is a bold attempt to perform a negative role. He has also attempted to dance for an item song this time. He has also got the pass mark for it.
But why the hell, the item songs are included in this kind of crime stories? Are they necessary? These songs do not stick to the story. To give a complete entertainer for all kinds of people, the directors follow this kind of techniques.
The role of Ramya is done by Poonam Kaur. Poonam is a well talented girl, whose skills are wasted in this film. She has done really well in Payanam and 6 Mezhuguvarthigal.
This film could be watched once for the power packed performance of Ganesh Venkat Raman.
