Richard does the role of the research student very nicely; he single-handedly carries the movie on his shoulders and makes it a success. R. Selva’s cinematography is the best thing about the movie. The music by S. P. L. Salvadoran is decent, he could have done better. The director had the support if an adequate cast and crew.
The actors, Richard and Mano Chitra are good actors. They are known to deliver outstanding performances in the industry. Here too they continue to do that. The supporting cast also does everything that is required of them in the movie.
1) Brilliant acting
2) A refreshing plot
3) Brilliant cinematography
What’s not there?
1) The screenplay could have been made racier.
2) The music is a disappointment
Overall, Andaman is a delight to watch.
