Plot

Devaraj is a gangster and he steals things under the order. When he gets such an order, he assigns the work to four people, Varadhu, Ratna, Richie and Sethu. Varadhu had a girlfriend, who broke up with him as he has none. Now all the four, who were assigned the job, got the bag and find out that the bag has crores of money. They decided to share it among themselves and run away from that place. They reach a village and get the help of a senior citizen, Janardhanan, who had been a zamindar, once. He is married to a young girl, Bala. Richie’s girlfriend Arasi comes to the village and joins them. Meanwhile, Ratna and Bala have an illegal affair. In this situation, Devaraj tries a lot to find out these four. What happened next? Did they get caught? What happened to Bala and Ratna relationship? Watch the film in theaters!

The stars have performed as per directed. None had exposed a special talent and proved their presence.

Analysis

Jai took a black comedy genre with adult content that doesn’t appeal well. However, the visuals are impressive than the story and the screenplay. The director has designed the character Bala in a unique way; all the other characters are not designed with much care. Addressed as a black comedy, the film didn’t have anything as such.

Verdict

The director should have tried something better. The screenplay and the narration need expertise. Although the film had been in the box for three years, it had nothing interesting. If you have no films to watch this weekend, try this film.
