MORE CAST & CREW

Bruce Lee is the Tamil action comedy thriller directed by Prashanth Pandiraj. The film has “ G V Prakash Kumar” and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead roles. Started its pre-production in 2015, the film took nearly 2 years to complete. This is the first Tamil film for Kriti Kharbanda. “Ramdoss,” Aatma Patrick, Bala Saravanan, Naan Kadavul Rajendran, “Anadaraj” and Mansoor Ali Khan play pivotal roles in this flick. Kenanya Films produced the film and the music composition is by G V Prakash and the Cinematography is by PV Shankar.

Plot

GV Prakash, who plays the titular role, is very coward and afraid of everything in his childhood. So, his mother names him Bruce Lee. As he grows, his fear minimizes. He falls in love with Kriti Kharbanda. When they were enjoying their day out, GV witnesses a murder. Munish Kanth Ramdoss murders Mansoor Ali Khan. GV shoots it with his camera. When he shows it to his lady love, she wanted him to show those photos to the police and punish Munish. But, the commissioner is the right hand to Munish. As per his directions, they kidnap Kriti. Did GV rescue her? Did Munish get convicted? Watch in theaters.

Star Performance

Although GV Prakash doesn't have six pack abs, he makes it big in his actions. Kriti Kharbanda did justice to her role. Ramdoss, Mansoor, Bala, Anandaraj and Rajendran delivered their best.

Analysis

Prashanth Pandiaraj’s first attempt to attract the audiences is neither a bad effort nor an exquisite one. He tried a masala entertainer with GV Prakash, who had been doing similar kind of movies.

What’s There?

  • An excellent comedy performance by a big team, which has Mansoor, Ramdoss, Bala, Rajendran and Anandaraj.
  • Kriti is a good welcome to Kollywood

What’s Not There?

  • GV chooses similar genre which didn’t suit his physique
  • Degrading the women is a big minus

 Verdict

We can’t say this as a unique film. As GV Prakash has been doing similar films, this looks like a mixture of his previous films. If you are a masala movie watcher, you could book a ticket for this.
