Charlie Chaplin 2 is a romantic comedy film scripted and directed by Sakthi Chidambaram. “ Prabhu,” Prabhu Deva, Nikki Galrani, “ Abhirami,” Adah Sharma, Chandana Raj, Amit Bhargav, Samir Kochhar, Luthfudeen Basha, Vivek Prasanna, Aravind Akash, Ravi Mariya and Dev Gill are in the star cast. Amresh Ganesh composes the music and “ T Siva” produces the film under the banner Amma Creations. “ Soundararajan” cranked the camera.
Plot
Thiru had been making matches and completed 99 marriages along with his friends. When his parents want him to get married and settle in life, he falls in love with Sara, daughter of Ramakrishnan. When everything goes on fine and their marriage is fixed, his friend Raja asks him to cancel the wedding, as he doubts Sara’s behavior. On seeing the evidence, Thiru is shocked. Meanwhile, another girl named Sara crosses his life. What happens next? Did he get married or not? Watch the film in theaters!
Star Performance
Prabhu Deva has done his best. His dance performances, body language and facial expressions are perfect, as usual. Coming to Prabhu… We, need not speak about his performance, as we all know him as a versatile actor, who does his work perfectly in any role. Nikki Galrani, Vivek Prasanna and Ravi Mariya did their part well.
Analysis
Shakthi Chidambaram has taken an old script once again. The simple script has been dealt in a complicated way and that is why the audiences get irritated. The songs are unnecessarily added. Except for the song Chinna Machan, none others attract. Although the film has got a lot of illogical scenes, the director has made the audiences laugh with Ravi Mariya and Vivek Prasanna.

Verdict
On the whole, Charlie Chaplin 2 has both positives and negatives. Prabhu Deva is tailor-made for this role and he is the biggest plus. With the performance of talented stars like Prabhu, the film is watchable once!
