Plot

Dharani is a die-hard Mahendra Singh Dhoni Mahendra Singh Dhoni Ak MS Dhoni or Dhoni was born >> Read More... fan. He and his friends play gully cricket in a ground. A local gangster buys the ground and the boys claim for it. They are told that if they pay Rs 3 lakh in ten days, they could get the ground. So, the team decided to collect money to get back their sentimental property. Although they managed to collect a lump sum, they fall short of some thousands. They have an option to take part in the local Kabadi match to win the prize money and add it to the sum to buy back their cricket ground. Did they win the Kabadi match? Watch it on the silver screen.

Analysis

The director should have concentrated either on cricket or Kabadi. He had misused the popular saying by Dhoni in 2007 that he had different ideas from that of the experts and had misplaced cricket and Kabadi. The script is half-baked and the screenplay is weak. The cinematography is not up to the mark. In fact, it tortures the eyes with the frequent zoom in and zoom outs. The Tamil culture and the tradition are forcefully inserted in the film.
