Analysis

July Kaatril is a different script than the usual love story. It is not about a playboy, but a guy, who couldn’t settle soon with his decision. The casting team needs appreciation. The directed has designed the characters excellently and the stars fit in the roles with perfection. The music composition is neat. Joshua Shridhar had composed the songs and the BGM impressively. The director has brought in a neat script that didn’t hurt anyone physically or verbally. The main thing is that there is no alcoholism in the film.

What’s There?

  • Performance of the stars is neat
  • The songs and the BGM are excellent
  • The visuals are cool and eye-catchy
  • No alcoholism and physical abuse

What’s Not There?

  • More emotions would have strengthened the script
  • Some depth is missing in the hero's character

Verdict

The director has treated the romantic script in a different way. But, if there is more detail in the hero’s character, it would have been much impressing. If you want to watch a decent romantic entertainer, you could walk into the theaters that screened July Kaatril.
