Jaikumar lives in a village happily with his wife and a son. He is a proud farmer. Jaikumar and Jennifer care their son well and their life had been going happily. Meanwhile, Kiran, the councilor of the area opens a liquor shop. Following this, the village people protest against him under the captaincy of the village lead, Bava Chelladurai. Although they assured that they would close the liquor shop, they didn’t take enough measures and finally the villagers get used to the liquor. Jaikumar becomes a drunkard and his family comes to the streets.
Jaikumar had chosen a good role, but he should concentrate more on his expressions. Jenifer has given a decent performance.
The concept is good in papers. But, the execution is slightly sluggish. If the stars have performed a bit well, then the film would have reached the audiences, better. The cinematography is good and the music is okayish. The director wanted to showcase how the drinking habit spoils the families and the miserable situation faced by the next generation. If the screenplay is made interestingly, then this film would have got a better reach.
What’s Not There?
The concept is good. But without a good screenplay and the execution techniques, a film could not reach the audiences. Kudimagan – Good concept; poor execution
