Plot

Magadevan is married to Viji and they have a kid. Maga runs a taxi for his earning. Maga is also doing favors for Muthuraj, a politician. Muthuraj uses Maga for finishing the lives of his enemies. Maga did a couple of jobs for Muthuraj, who hadn’t pay him. As Maga requires money, he approaches Muthuraj, who gives him a similar job but not the money. Maga’s situation worsens, as some people are searching for him for his previous murders. Meanwhile, Muniraj lives in a village with his mother. He faces the caste issues. Jayaraman, a big head in the village wrongly assumes that his daughter Deepa and Muni have some relationship and want him to be killed. What happens to Magamuni, the estranged brothers? Watch the film to know the rest.

Star Performance

Indhuja and Mahima had done an excellent job. Ilavarasu played his role of a cunning politician and Jayaprakash played a caste-crazy person and he did his role well. Coming to Arya, this guy has performed his roles excellently well. His expressions and body language are fantastic for both the roles. He showcases an excellent performance as a family man. If given the right roles, he will rule the box office!

Analysis

Although Santhakumar visits the industry after a long gap, he has come with a perfect story and screenplay. The star selection is superb. The narration, cinematography and editing are good. Thaman’s BGM had given energy to the film.

Verdict

Magamuni is an excellent film that impresses people who love to watch performance-oriented movies. A good comeback for Arya with a stunning role and he has rocked it!
