Watch the film in theaters!
Umapathi looks slim and smart. He performs well and also dances well. Thambi Ramaiah excelled in his role, as usual. Sreeja Ravi plays the granny. Sri Ranjani and Meera play the mothers and both of them had done what is required for their roles.
After a decade, Thambi Ramaiah returned to his direction field. After Indralogathil Na Azhagappan, Thambi Ramaiah directed this film. Besides scripting and directing, he has penned the lyrics and composed the music too. The cinematography is good and Thambi Ramaiah’s music is okayish. Although Thambi Ramaiah had worked hard to bring his son, he should choose a bit good script. However, the village backdrop looks good.
What’s Not There?
Maniyar Kudumbam doesn’t come with a big message, but just a romantic comedy entertainer. Although there is no much vulgarity, some of the scenes including the granny scenes make the audiences feel that it is not suitable to watch with kids.
