The director has taken up a social awareness movie with the intent of reaching all sections of the audiences. One could get a better idea about the quality of the movie as he/she reads through the review.

Plot

Raj works as a school teacher in a village. The whole town is all praises that Raj is a teetotaler. Also, the entire village holds respect for him. But, the truth is that he takes drinks during the night without anybody’s knowledge. He is a drunkard from a very young age. He is not able to abstain from the habit of drinking. The movie’s heroine resides in the very same town, and she has lost her family because of her father’s drinking habits. The heroine desires to marry a teetotaler. There is a clash between Raj and the heroine of the movie. But, following the clash, they befriend each other. The friendship between the two blossoms as love and soon they get married. But, like a bolt from the blue, the heroine comes to know of her husband’s drinking habits. This results in a clash between the two. Watch the movie to know whether there is reconciliation between the husband and wife.

Star Perfromances

Although Raj is a teacher in the movie, he has appeared as a very innocent person. The performance by Raj is laudable. The efforts that he takes to quit the addiction to alcohol cause much interest among the audiences. The heroine has not felt and done her role. Her expressions and dialogue delivery are not apt. Kantharaj appears as yet another alcoholic in the movie. He has done the role of a school peon in the movie. Through his efforts, he has made the audiences laugh. The other characters in the movie have done their role commendably.

Analysis

Director Senthil Raja has taken the movie with the intent of creating social awareness. Also, the director has projected on the screen the different types of alcoholics. This happens to be an interesting feature in the movie.

Music composition is by Sivasubramanian and the songs in the movie are average.
The comedy track in the movie provokes a hearty laughter.
