Plot

NGK is an educated youth who had been in a good position. He develops an interest in organic farming and has been successfully running it. He receives opposition from all the sides. To suppress those oppositions, he seeks help from an MLA. To solve the issue, he asks him to join his political party and with no options left with him, NGK joins the party. After joining the party, NGK started showing a great interest in politics and moving to a good position. What happens next? Watch the film!

Star Performance

Suriya has done his part well as usual. Sai Pallavi has got a meaty role to do. Although some scenes seem to have been a bit exaggerated, she scores well. Rakul has also done justice to her role. The rest of the stars including Uma Padmanabhan, Bala Singh, Ponvannan and Ilavarasu had performed neatly.

Analysis

Fans expected that the film would definitely be a Suriya film with Selva touch. But, did it satisfy them? Selvaraghavan’s touch is in the initial scenes including the scene where Suriya cleans even the restroom to come up in his political career. Except for one or two scenes, the rest didn’t have Selva’s touch. Selvaraghavan has included the latest sexual assault case and it receives appreciation from the audience. NGK’s extramarital affair seems to be irritating. The film has excellent cinematography and the fantastic BGM by Yuvan. Songs are already popular before the release. Selva should be praised for giving equal importance to both the heroines.

Verdict

When the fans expect that it will be a good political entertainer, Selvaraghavan had disappointed them. However, it is watchable, once! Yes, for the performance of Suriya and Yuvan’s BGM, you could try the film!
