The crew planned to premiere this movie in March 2019. Later, it got slackened due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The film was finally released in mid-2023 among all the hardships.

Plot

Sridhar is a typical shrimp farmer living peacefully in a village. He became poor one day by losing all his money. He meets his childhood friend Kalyan, who is working with a gang of thieves. Kalyan forced Sridhar to join them for stealing a chip from a scientist. Sridhar hesitantly agreed because of his poor situation and went with them. Things took a hilarious turn because of a drug in the scientist's place. The drug has unpredicted effects, which made Kalyan transform into an adorable lady. Will Kalyan regain his original self? The story then moves in an adventurous way.

Star Performance

Aadhi Pinisetty has done the role in the best possible manner. Hansika Motwani has made her debut in the Tamil film industry again with a unique role after a prolonged absence. Yogi Babu has taken the film to another level with his hilarious and amusing performance.

Analysis

The director, Manoj Damodaran, couldn’t wholly drench the viewer in the universe he imagined and failed to make viewers laugh out loud. Both Aadhi and Hansika have done their roles neatly. Yogi Babu’s humor made the movie stand out. The technical components of the movie are excellent. The film has no logically captivating content outside of its main idea, which is gender transition. The director could have made the transitioned characters have even more similar behaviors. Even if it has the potential to be amusing and tumultuous at the same time, the impact is unsatisfactory. The pre-interval scenes lose most of their humor. The film is saved by the lead actor’s solid performances and the scenes leading up to a big reveal. The dialogue must have been made better. It gets boring when there is criticism of modern ladies every ten minutes. Even the later scenes fail miserably to create a strong bond between the main characters. This film would have been better if the creator had dug deeper into the science fiction element and included plausible moments.

The dialogue could’ve been made better.
Science-fiction scenes could have been done logically.
Lack of humor in many humor scenes

Verdict

This film could have been made better. Dialogue delivery is not very good. There are many illogical scenes that make people feel perplexed. But still, if you are a science movie lover. Go for it!
